After last month's CD Release Party at The Turf Club in St. Paul, empire garrison is crossing the river and focusing its love on Minneapolis... Uptown, in particular.

New Album at Cheapo Records - If you haven't picked up your copy of the new album, Goodbye Singing Songs, you now have another option. In addition to being available for purchase here and via iTunes, the album can now be purchased at Cheapo Records locations.

Cheapo In-Store Performance - We're making a rare pre-dusk, non-bar appearance at Cheapo on Friday, March 27 at 6pm. We'll be playing semi-unplugged, so it'll be a chance to hear the songs out of their normal character. No charge, of course, so grab a friend and start your weekend with us.

The Uptown - EG will rock the Uptown Bar & Café - along with Action vs. Action and a band to be named later - on Friday, April 10. Music at 9pm. Mark your calendar now and join us at this Minneapolis landmark (3018 Hennepin Avenue South).

about the band

EG makes songs. Mostly rock songs. Modern songs, throwback songs, goodbye singing songs, and songs for those that enjoy walking around with a song in their head.

EG records songs. Their latest album, Goodbye Singing Songs, was recorded at Flowers Studio in Minneapolis and released on February 13, 2009. It is available on CD and iTunes.

EG plays songs. Mostly their own. Sometimes someone else's. They've been doing it since 2001. People seem to like it. For a list of upcoming shows, go to the myspace or facebook pages. Better still, sign up as a fan and you'll be the first to know about the next show.
